TERMINOLOGY - ACRONYMS

BCWS - Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled
   The cost of work scheduled to be accomplished. Calculated as the amount of work planned
   by the costs of resources performing the tasks. Also known as the budget or baseline.
BCWP - Budgeted Cost of Work Performed
  The budgeted cost of work performed is cost of work completed based on budgeted costs.
   Also known as Earned Value.
ACWP - Actual Cost of Work Performed
 
The actual cost of current work performed on a plan. Also known as Labor Actuals.
 
ETC - Estimate to Complete
 
Estimate of all costs for authorized work remaining.
EAC - Estimate at Completion
 
Final total allocated budget figure for the project. Project cost.
BAC - Budget at Completion
 
Final total allocated budget figure for the project. Project cost.
CV - Cost Variance
